Important Notice

The CEF subsidy ceiling has been increased from $10,000 to $20,000 upon the implementation of the enhancement measures for CEF from 1 April 2019. A subsidy of $10,000 is added to the existing accounts or re-activated accounts on top of the unused balance, if any, under the original $10,000 subsidy. For new applicants applying for reimbursement for CEF courses which commence on or after 1 April 2019 and before 1 August 2022, their opening balance should be $20,000. Upon the implementation of the enhancement measure for CEF from 1 August 2022, another subsidy of $5,000 is added to the accounts. For new applicants applying for reimbursement for CEF courses which commence on or after 1 August 2022, their opening balance should be $25,000.
